Broken Hand Cracked Drill Press Restoration
This drill press was waiting to be destroyed in a junkyard. but i couldn't let it melt and i bought. I can't even imagine how many jobs it's completed over the decades. The weariness of the years was evident in the dirt, rust and broken pieces. My respect for his experiences encouraged me to restore it,
after taking it apart i did a lot of tig welding to fix the broken parts. I had a lot of work on the lathe, but I had a lot of fun restoring it. İt was my last video with combo lathe because i sold it to a new workshop.İt was an honor for me to make it this way. I hope you like my restoration methods and video, thank you for watching...

Antique Rusty Hand Drill - Perfect Restoration
Просмотров 4,3 тыс.Год назад
This hand drill, which hadn't been used for years in my German relative's warehouse, was too rusty to be used. It was a beautiful piece to be restored and I wanted to bring it back to life. At first I thought this should be a quick and easy project, but I ran into a lot of problems, I was trying so hard to bring it back to life but unfortunately some parts of it were broken. I wasn't too surpri...

Very Rusty Huge Vise - Perfect Restoration

This vise is an heirloom from my subscriber's craftsman father. It was waiting to be restored for 20 years in a warehouse and he asked me to restore it. It was very rusty, dirty, and rotten. The vise jaws were rotten and all the pins were stuck. This is my first time encountering the "YUNG" brand, I searched about the company but couldn't find anything, rumor has it it's a Chinese brand, I thin...

I like this video for a few reasons! 1. It's really a rusty piece. Not just left in the garden mud for a week. 2. You don't have all the fancy equipment. You use logical and practical things to get the job done. 3. It looked like it was hard work! Well done sir!

Nice job. Referencing the 14 minute mark, you’ll get much better threads and you’re tool will last much longer if after every turn forward you reverse your tap about half to two thirds of a turn to clear your chips. And always use a lubricant. Margarine or even water if that’s all you have but turning threads dry and not clearing your tap is asking for a broken tap stuck in your hole.

Don't need to see you taping to paint, and it looks like you ground off any makers marks.Sad!

Im thinking maybe i shoukd use the phrase perfect restoration in my titles because your work is run of the mill compared to what others turn out .even my stuff.. But im more honest in the titles of mine . Ive yet to see a truely 'perfect restoration ftom you but you declare nearly every video to be this .. ffs ... I definitly wouldnt buy a car from you based on your description of it ....

Every one that has commented positively must be bludy blind . Perfect restoration my arse . I can do better than this with my eyes closed and two fingers up my bum . No way should you have used perfect restoration in your title sorry but you are a bit mental if you really believe this to be perfect . And yes I can do better and yes I have done better and yes I have. Videos to prove it .

It came out great! Nice job brother! One little suggestion though, after restoring tools, you gotta show them in action! Lol just a quick demonstration like drilling a piece of thin wood or metal. Thanks for sharing! Take care brother.
